Why Not Lovable, N8N, or a Website Builder?

A lot of "use AI" advice pushes you into a stack that costs $700+ a year. Lovable Pro runs $25 a month. N8N runs $20 to $24 a month and basically requires you to become an IT guy. Higgsfield adds another $10+ a month for AI generated images most small businesses don't need.

You're probably already paying for Claude. Add a domain and hosting under $120 a year, and you're done. No stacked subscriptions, no learning curve you didn't ask for.

Why Not Hostinger's AI Website Builder?

Hostinger has its own AI website builder built in. It runs roughly $5 per month, but it requires prepaying for 3–4 years upfront, comes with limited features, and can't be managed from your phone.

Instead, this tutorial uses Claude, which you probably already pay for, to build a real website with a codebase you fully own. You can run the whole process from your phone if you need to.

Steps

  1. Create a private GitHub repository.
  2. Set up your Hostinger website. Go to Websites → New Website → PHP/HTML website, select a domain name, and continue.
  3. Open the Git panel. Once the website is set up, go to Websites → [your website] → Advanced → Git.
  4. Connect your GitHub repository. Follow Hostinger's on-screen instructions to connect the repository you created in step 1.
  5. Connect Claude to GitHub. On a computer, go to claude.ai/new#settings/customize-connectors and connect GitHub, giving it full access to all repos. On a phone, open the Claude app and connect GitHub from there. No browser needed.
  6. Open Claude Code. On a computer, go to claude.ai/code. On a phone, open the Claude app and tap Code.
  7. Build your site. Select the GitHub repo you just created, tell Claude what you want your website to be, and instruct it to open and merge a pull request.
  8. You're live. Once the pull request is merged, the changes deploy to Hostinger automatically.
